Below is a simple breakdown of how it works and what to expect.

1️⃣ What This Device Does

The OTTOCAST Play2Video Pro is a plug-and-play CarPlay AI box that connects to your car’s factory-wired CarPlay USB port.

Once connected, it allows you to:

  • Use Wireless CarPlay (for iPhone)

  • Use Wireless Android Auto (for Android)

  • Access pre-installed Android apps such as YouTube, Netflix, TikTok, Spotify, and IPTV

  • Watch video content directly on your car’s screen (when parked, where legally permitted)

⚠️ Important: Your car must already support factory wired CarPlay for this device to work.

2️⃣ Simple Plug & Play Setup

Getting started takes just a few steps:

  1. Plug the OTTOCAST Play2Video Pro into your car’s CarPlay USB port

  2. Turn on your car

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts

  4. Connect your phone (wirelessly)

  5. Connect to a mobile hotspot for internet access

That’s it — no tools, no dashboard removal, no permanent changes.

3️⃣ Apps & Entertainment

The device runs on a built-in Android system with pre-installed apps, including:

  • YouTube

  • Netflix

  • TikTok

  • Spotify

  • IPTV / Prime Video (availability may vary)

Good to know:

  • Apps are pre-installed and cannot be downloaded or removed

  • A touchscreen is required to use video apps

  • Video streaming requires a mobile hotspot or in-car Wi-Fi

  • Streaming quality depends on your internet speed

Split-screen mode and voice control (Siri / Google Assistant) are supported for added convenience.
